R-AB-4 Air Breather

The R-AB-4 features inlet and outlet check valves located in the reusable cap (head). These control both the airflow into the reservoir and the airflow out of the reservoir and prolongs the life of the desiccant by allowing the air to flow through the breather only when needed to protect the integrity of the reservoir by establishing the thresholds of vacuum (air in) and pressure (air out).

Automatic Self-Cleaning Filter (SC)

The SC is a backflushing system for extracting particles from low viscosity fluids such as water and machine tool coolants. Particle contamination in water accelerates the rate of wear on system components such as spray nozzles, water valves, and pipelines and results in premature component failure. It is ideal for applications where fluid flow cannot be interrupted and must be constantly maintained at an acceptable cleanliness level. Its robust construction and continuous virtually maintenance-free filtration greatly enhance operational reliability and reduce operating costs.

Back-Flushing Water Filter

The BWF is a dual stage backflushing filter for extracting solid particles from low viscosity fluids. It provides continuous filtration even during the backflushing process, making it ideal for systems that demand uninterrupted operation. Another benefit derived from utilizing backflushing filters is that they require virtually no maintenance, thereby providing increased efficiency with no on-going operating costs. The BWF boasts minimal pressure drop and is rated for 75 gpm up to 1000 psi.

TestMate Contamination Monitor (TCM)

The TCM is among the newest generation of particle monitors that continuously measure solid contamination in fluid. Enclosed in a 4 inch diameter case, the TCM utilizes an optical sensor and measures particles in four sizes: >4, >6, >14 and >21 microns.

Schroeder Vacuum Dehydrator (SVD)

Centrifuge and condensation methods typically only remove free water. The SVD, which uses mass transfer dehydration, can remove both free and dissolved water from the oil, as well as dissolved gases. In addition, solid contaminants are also removed by highly efficient membrane elements, which can lower ISO codes by 3 classes in a signal pass.

Auto Flush Cart (AFM)

The Auto Flush Filter Cart is designed to transfer fluid through (2) K-size filters in series for staged particulate or water/particulate removal. Both filters are top-loading and include element indicators in the cap. A 40 micron strainer filter protected laser particle monitor samples from the pump discharge and displays ISO contamination codes on the control panel. The monitor allows user to input a desired cleanliness code. An optional water sensor with relay output is available with set point entered by user.

The Schroeder SMART® Kit is the perfect solution for measuring contamination levels in your hydraulic and lubricating oils. This unit comes complete with the Schroeder TestMateTM Contamination monitor, making it easy to continuously monitor ISO levels in real time, showing you exactly how dirty your fluid is. This kit can be added as a retrofit to any Schroeder’s Standard Filtration Carts (MFS/MFD), Kidney Loops (KLS/KLD) or Skids without any additional modifications. Carts and Kidney Loops can also be ordered with the SMART® Kit included. These configurations are known as Mobile SMART Filtration Systems (MSS/MSD) and Kidney Looop SMART Systems (KSS/KSD), respectively
